Bench Warmers
On sunday My family and I got a chance to sit on the Heat bench during their shoot around before they took on Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Laker. Even though the Heat are not having a great season and I am bummed about Shaq getting traded it was still and amazing expience. We were on the floor for about an hour and got to see both teams shooting around and we also got to see all the arena staff get the rest of “show” in order, the Heat dancers and the Golden Oldies were practicing and Clarence Clemmons was warming up to play the National Anthem. Yea, and Kobe walked right in front of us, like a foot away. I don’t care what you think about him as a person he is hands down the best player in the NBA. After that we had lunch in the Dewars Club and we all rotated between going down to the seats, behind the Laker bench, and watching the game on the rail in the Dewar’s Club. We also got to see the Martix, Sean Marion’s Miami Debut. I think in the end he will do alot for the Heat one way or another and at least there is a little more reason to watch this season.
