A side note: A hymn is a type of song, usually religious, specifically written for the purpose of praise, adoration or , and typically addressed to a deity/deities, a prominent figure or an epic tale.
Come thou Fount: “Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it, Prone to leave the God I love. Here’s my heart now take and seal it, seal it for Thy courts above”
Before the Throne: “One in Himself I cannot die. My soul is purchased by his blood, my life is hid with Christ on high, with Christ my savior and my God.”
How deep the Fathers love: Why should I gain from his reward? I cannot give an answer, but this I know with all my heart, His wounds have paid my ransom”
Arise my Soul: The Father hears Him pray, His dear anointed One; He cannot turn away, the presence of His Son; His Spirit answers to the blood, His Spirit answers to the blood, And tells me I am born of God.
