What have you been up to?
Well I haven’t posted in a while, but I do have good reason. I have been busy with YFC. On Friday we had our first Campus Life event. I think everyone had fun and the name Campus Life was promoted very nicely. I would say close to 100 people came out. Then on Sunday we had some people from our church over for a Bar-B-Q.
Today I left with four other Palm Beach County YFC staff for Summer Institute at Huntington University in Ft. Wayne Indiana. A 10 day training for all new staff nation wide. I met a few guys from Hawaii this evening. I flew out of Miami at 8 this morning and am just now getting to bed. YFC President Dan Wolgemoth spoke tonight and it was very good. 10 days is a long to be away from home and away from my wife. Please pray for me that I don’t let things like that prevent me from learning and taking things away for these 10 days. I will try to blog as much as I can during these 10 days. You can follow me on twitter and also check out my Campus Life blog for what is going on in the life of this ministry. In all honesty it will probably get updated more frequently than this one.
Of all the things I didn’t like about BCF, I will say one thing that I am extremely thankful for. I always had my own bathroom in my dorm room. Here we community showers and it sucks. Seriously I would appreciate it if you pray for me that I can listen to what God is saying and really be refreshed and focused in these 10 days. Thanks!
